三岐鉄道に譲渡された元JR東海211系の大規模改造まとめ（2025年1月時点）

Summary of Major Overhauls for Former JR Central 211 Series Transferred to Sangi Railway (as of January 2025)

It's still fresh in our minds that Sangi Railway announced on July 1, 2024, that it would receive 211 series trains from JR Central to replace the existing trains that have been in use for many years. This is the first time the 211 series has been transferred to a local private railway, drawing attention not only from railway enthusiasts but also from many others. A total of 30 cars in 3-car formations have been transferred, of which 24 are scheduled for operational use and 6 for parts. This will replace all the former Seibu Railway trains that have been active on the Sangi Line.

Purpose and Content of Major Overhauls The 211 series transferred to Sangi Railway has undergone extensive modifications to adapt to operations on the Sangi Line. The details of these modifications are diverse.
