 JR東日本 2025年3月ダイヤ改正：首都圏・各方面への変更点を徹底解説！

JR東日本は、2025年3月15日（土）にダイヤ改正を実施します。今回の改正では、東北新幹線「はやぶさ」の増発や中央線快速・青梅線でのグリーン車サービス開始など、首都圏を中心に様々な変更点があります。この記事では、公開された資料に基づき、各方面への変更点を詳細に解説します。

1. 新幹線

1. 東北新幹線「はやぶさ」増発

東京駅発着の「はやぶさ」が1往復増発され、1日27往復の運転となります。増発されるのは、下りが東京駅14時44分発、上りが東京駅17時32分着の便です。「はやぶさ」の座席が予約しやすくなり、首都圏と東北方面のアクセスが向上します。

2. 東北・山形新幹線 一部列車の所要時間短縮

「やまびこ」「つばさ」の一部列車で所要時間が短縮されます。

3. 東北・山形新幹線 E8系追加投入

E8系が追加投入され、快適性が向上します。2025年3月までに9編成が投入され、2026年春までに全ての「つばさ」がE8系に統一される予定です。これに伴い、E3系の運転は終了予定です。

  • ダイヤ改正後にE8系で運転する「つばさ」の一部
    • つばさ121号：東京6:12発 → 新庄9:55着
    • つばさ122号：新庄5:40発 → 東京9:12着
    • その他複数便でE8系での運転が予定されていますが、一部E3系での運転日や車両運用の都合により変更となる場合があります。

2. 在来線（首都圏）

1. 中央線快速・青梅線 グリーン車サービス開始

東京～大月間の中央線快速と立川～青梅間の青梅線で、グリーン車サービスが開始されます。4号車・5号車が2階建てのグリーン車となり、快適な着席サービスが提供されます。乗車にはグリーン券が必要で、Suicaグリーン料金が適用されるモバイルSuicaでの購入がお得です。

    • 運行区間：中央線快速（東京～大月間）、青梅線（立川～青梅間）
    • 車両：E233系（オレンジ帯の電車）の4号車・5号車
    • 料金：Suicaグリーン料金がお得

    • グリーン車お試し期間は2025年3月14日終了

2. 特急列車の利便性向上

  • 中央線特急の東京駅始発列車増発: 「あずさ」「かいじ」の一部列車が東京駅始発となり、16時30分以降に新宿駅を発車する中央線特急は全て東京駅始発となります。
  • 大糸線直通「あずさ」の運転時刻・区間変更: 上り「あずさ」の時刻が変更され、運転区間は新宿～白馬間に変更となります。
  • 通勤・通学に便利な臨時特急「かいじ」運転: 平日朝に臨時特急「かいじ」が運転され、山梨エリアから東京方面へのアクセスが向上します。
  • 常磐線特急の品川駅発着列車増発: 「ときわ」の一部列車が品川駅発着となり、常磐線特急は全て品川駅発着となります。
  • 「成田エクスプレス」の千葉駅停車拡大: 一部列車で千葉駅が停車駅に追加され、アクセスが向上します。
  • 「しらゆき」の運転時刻変更:利用しやすい時間帯に運転時刻が変更されます。

3. 新駅「上所駅」開業

越後線白山～新潟間に新駅「上所駅」が開業し、新潟駅へのアクセスが向上します。

4. 横須賀線について

・夜間作業時間拡大のため、横須賀線の初終電が品川駅発着に変更となります。

・混雑対策として15両化を行う。

・E217系はダイヤ改正後迄に営業運行撤退

5. その他

  • 山手線、南武線、武蔵野線、日光線などで増発
  • 東海道線、京葉線で一部輸送体系見直し

→東海道線の輸送形態見直しと一言だけ書かれていたのだが、JR東海東海道線に直通する列車が10両から5両になると推測する。2024年ダイヤ改正時点では9往復から7往復へ減便となるが、更に5.5往復減便となり、減便となる列車は熱海で系統を分割するそうです。

  • 特急「あかぎ」は一部列車で運転区間変更、土休日は運転取りやめ
  • 南武線、常磐線各駅停車(JR千代田線)、田沢湖線でワンマン運転実施
  • 南武線はダイヤ改正後は205系1本とE127系2本体制で行う

 

3. 八王子支社関連の変更点

  • 中央線快速・青梅線グリーン車サービス開始（上記参照）
  • 特急「あずさ」「かいじ」の東京発着変更（上記参照）
  • 「ホリデー快速おくたま」の東京発着変更
  • 青梅線・五日市線の直通列車増発
  • 南武線の増発とワンマン運転実施

4. 高崎支社関連の変更点

  • 北陸新幹線「あさま」の時刻変更
  • 高崎線の編成両数変更、始発駅変更
  • 八高線の輸送体系見直し（増発、時刻変更、全列車2両編成ワンマン運転）
  • 特急「あかぎ」の運転区間見直し、土休日廃止

5. 水戸支社関連の変更点

  • 常磐線特急「ときわ」の品川駅発着延長
  • 常磐線普通列車の一部運転区間変更、所要時間短縮

→土浦～水戸間E501系10両編成からE531系5両+5両運用変更により水戸～いわきのみの運用となる。

※E501系土浦～水戸間撤退により普通列車全車両130ｋｍ運転化

  • 水郡線の一部列車編成両数見直し、運転区間変更

→ワンマン列車拡大

 

6. 千葉支社関連の変更点

  • 「成田エクスプレス」の千葉駅停車拡大、一部時刻変更
  • 総武快速線の運転本数見直し
  • 京葉線の増発、快速運転への変更、時刻変更(※大増発ではなく各駅停車から快速に格上げとちょっぴりの増発程度)

まとめ

JR East Japan will implement a timetable revision on Saturday, March 15, 2025. In this revision, there are various changes, mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area, such as the increase in the number of trains on the Tohoku Shinkansen "Hayabusa" and the start of green car services on the Chuo Line Rapid and Ome Line. 1. Shinkansen

1. Tohoku Shinkansen "Hayabusa" increased

The Hayabusa, which departs from and arrives at Tokyo Station, will be increased by one round trip, making 27 round trips per day. The additional buses will depart from Tokyo Station at 14:44 for the outbound flight and arrive at Tokyo Station at 17:32 for the inbound flight. It will be easier to reserve seats on the Hayabusa, and access to the Tokyo metropolitan area and Tohoku will be improved.

2. Tohoku-Yamagata Shinkansen: Shortening the travel time of some trains

Travel time will be shortened on some "Yamabiko" and "Tsubasa" trains.

  • "Yamabiko" to shorten the time required
    • Yamabiko No. 59: Tokyo ~ Sendai shortened by 1 minute, Tokyo ~ Morioka shortened by 4 minutes
    • Yamabiko No. 61: Tokyo ~ Sendai shortened by 1 minute, Tokyo ~ Morioka shortened by 4 minutes
  • "Tsubasa" to shorten the time required
    • Tsubasa No. 123: Tokyo ~ Yamagata shortened by 13 minutes, Tokyo ~ Shinjo shortened by 7 minutes

3. Tohoku-Yamagata Shinkansen E8 series added

The E8 series has been added to improve comfort. Nine trains will be introduced by March 2025, and all "Tsubasa" will be unified into the E8 series by spring 2026. As a result, the operation of the E3 series will be terminated.

2. Conventional Lines (Tokyo Metropolitan Area)

1. Chuo Line Rapid and Ome Line Green Car Service Started.

The green car service will be started on the Chuo Line Rapid between Tokyo ~ Otsuki and the Ome Line between Tachikawa ~ Ome. Cars 4 and 5 will be double-decker green cars, and comfortable seating service will be provided. A green ticket is required for boarding, and it is advantageous to purchase with mobile Suica, where the Suica green fee is applied.

    • Operating sections: Chuo Line Rapid (Tokyo ~ Otsuki), Ome Line (Tachikawa ~ Ome)
    • Vehicles: E233 series (orange belt trains) No. 4 and No. 5

    • Limited express "Hachioji" and "Ume" are canceled
    • The green car trial period will end on March 14, 2025

2. Improving the convenience of limited express trains

  • Increased number of trains departing from Tokyo Station on the Chuo Line Limited Express: Some trains of "Azusa" and "Kaiji" will depart from Tokyo Station, and all Chuo Line limited express trains departing from Shinjuku Station after 16:30 will depart from Tokyo Station.
  • Operation time and section change of Oito Line direct "Azusa":  The time of the inbound "Azusa" will be changed, and the operation section will be changed between Shinjuku ~ Hakuba.
  • Convenient operation of the special limited express "Kaiji" for commuting to work and school:  The special limited express "Kaiji" will be operated on weekday mornings, improving access from the Yamanashi area to Tokyo.
  • Increased number of trains arriving and departing from Shinagawa Station on the Joban Line: Some trains on the Tokiwa will depart and arrive at Shinagawa Station, and all trains on the Joban Line will arrive and depart from Shinagawa Station.
  • Expansion of the Narita Express stop at Chiba Station:  Chiba Station will be added to the stop on some trains to improve access.
  • Change the operating time of "Shirayuki": The operation time will be changed to a time when it is easy to use.

3. Opening of a new station, Kamisho Station.

A new station "Kamisho Station" will open between Hakusan ~ Niigata on the Echigo Line, improving access to Niigata Station.

4. About the Yokosuka Line

・ In order to expand the night work hours, the first and last train on the Yokosuka Line will be changed to Shinagawa Station.

・15 cars will be converted to a countermeasure against congestion.

・ The E217 series will withdraw from commercial operation by the time the timetable is revised.

5. Miscellaneous

  • Increased number of trains on the Yamanote Line, Nambu Line, Musashino Line, Nikko Line, etc.
  • Partial revision of transportation systems on the Tokaido Line and Keiyo Line

→ was written only in one word, "The transportation form of the Tokaido Line will be reviewed", but I guess that the number of trains going directly to the JR Tokaido Line will increase from 10 cars to 5 cars. At the time of the 2024 schedule revision, the number of flights will be reduced from 9 round trips to 7 round trips, but the number of round trips will be further reduced by 5.5 round-trips, and the trains that will be reduced will be divided into systems in Atami.

  • Limited express "Akagi" operation section changed on some trains, operation canceled on Saturdays and holidays
  • One-man operation on the Nambu Line, Joban Line (JR Chiyoda Line), and Tazawako Line
  • After the revision of the timetable, the Nambu Line will be operated by one 205 series train and two E127 series trains

 

3. Hachioji Branch

  • Chuo Line Rapid and Ome Line Green Car Service started (see above)
  • Changes to and from Tokyo on the limited express "Azusa" and "Kaiji" (see above)
  • Change of "Holiday Rapid Okutama" to and from Tokyo
  • Increase in the number of direct trains on the Ome Line and Itsukaichi Line
  • Increase in the number of trains on the Nambu Line and implementation of one-man operation

4. Takasaki Branch

  • Time change of Hokuriku Shinkansen "Asama"
  • Change in the number of trains on the Takasaki Line, change of the first station
  • Revision of the transportation system of the Hachiko Line (increase in departures, time change, one-man operation of all trains with 2 cars)
  • Revision of the operation section of the limited express "Akagi", suspension of service on Saturdays and holidays

5. Changes related to the Mito Branch Office

  • Extension of the Joban Line Limited Express "Tokiwa" to Shinagawa Station
  • Tokiwa Line ordinary trainの一転interval 変change、The time required is shortened

→ Tsuchiura ~ Mito E501 series 10-car train to E531 series 5-car + 5-car operation change, Mito ~ Iwaki will be operated only.

  • Increased number of trains on the Keiyo Line, change to rapid operation, time change (* Not a large increase, but an upgrade from each station stop to a rapid train and a slight increase)

Summary

The revision of the timetable includes a wide range of changes, such as improving the convenience of the Shinkansen, improving the service of conventional lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and improving access to various directions. 東日本旅客鉄道 E8 系新幹線、相次ぐ補助電源装置故障の深層 — 製造メーカー三菱電機の関与と今後の展望 2025 年 6 月 17 日に発生した JR 東日本の E8 系新幹線車両の相次ぐ故障は、東北・山形新幹線に甚大な影響を与え、多くの利用客に不便と心配をかけています。 JR 東日本は、これらの故障が補助電源装置（ SIV ）の不具合によるものであることを公表し、現在も原因究明と対策に努めています。特に、 三菱電機製の半導体素子に損傷が確認 されている ことから、その原因が注目されています。 これまでの経緯と現在の調査状況 前回ご報告した通り、 6 月 17 日には E8 系の 4 編成（ G8, G9, G10, G11 ）で計 4 件の車両故障が発生しました。これら全ての故障において、 補助電源装置の異常が確認されています 。 JR 東日本とメーカーによる詳細な調査の結果、故障が発生した 6 台の補助電源装置内部で、 同部位の半導体素子に損傷が見つかりました。 この半導体素子の損傷が、車両のモーターを制御する主変換装置への電力供給を断ち、冷却装置の停止と回路保護動作を引き起こし、最終的に走行不能に至らせたものと見られています。 現在も半導体素子が損傷した根本的な原因は特定されておらず、気温などの環境的要素を含め、あらゆる観点から鋭意原因究明が進められています。 E8 系補助電源装置と三菱電機製半導体の関連性 今回故障した E8 系の補助電源装置に搭載されていたと見られるのが、 東洋電機製造 の ものと 類似 した なので E6 系 と同様 の 同じ SIV の可能性が高いが、補助電源装置の中にある半導体のチップが途中で変更したのか知らないが、三菱電機製の「 HVIGBT モジュール S1 シリーズ 」です。この製品は 2024 年 12 月 26 日に発売されたばかりの最新のもので、故障が発生した G9 編成の落成が 2025 年 1 月 21 日と比較的最近であることから、この編成から仕様変更により当該製品が採用された可能性が指摘されています。 補助電源装置内部の半導体素子の損傷は、写真からも非常に深刻な状態であることが伺え、専門家からは「爆発」「物理破壊」「焼損」といった表現でその状況が語られています。このような大規模な...

名鉄の存廃問題と廃線の決まった路線(2025年2月時点)／Meitetsu's survival issues and the routes that were decided to be discontinued (as of February 2025)
