概要

  • 東急電鉄は、東急多摩川線と京浜急行線を結ぶ「新空港線」の整備計画において、国土交通省から営業構想の認定を受けました。
  • この計画は、東急多摩川線と新空港線の直通運転を可能にし、羽田空港へのアクセス向上を目指すものです。

計画の詳細

  • 実施区域:東急多摩川線矢口渡駅・蒲田駅間から京浜急行電鉄本線・空港線京急蒲田駅付近まで
  • 事業内容
    • 東急多摩川線を矢口渡駅付近から蒲田駅まで地下化
    • 蒲田駅と京急蒲田駅付近間に連絡線(新空港線)を新設(営業キロ:約0.8km
    • 東急多摩川線と新空港線の直通運転を実施
    • 一部列車は多摩川駅から東横線へ乗り入れ
  • 運行頻度
    • 朝の最混雑時間帯:1時間あたり20本程度
    • その他の時間帯:1時間あたり10本程度
  • 停車駅:多摩川駅(TM01)・下丸子駅(TM04)・蒲田駅(TM07)のみで沼部駅(TM02)・鵜の木駅(TM03)・武蔵新田駅(TM05)・矢口渡駅(TM06)は通過する見通し。
  • 整備効果
    • 中目黒駅~京急蒲田駅付近:所要時間が約13分短縮
    • 自由が丘駅~京急蒲田駅付近:所要時間が約22分短縮
  • 東横線からの乗り入れ列車が停車できるよう、東急多摩川線の多摩川駅と下丸子駅のホームを整備する予定です。

計画の意義

  • JR京浜東北線、東急多摩川線、池上線蒲田駅と京急蒲田駅間の乗り換えの不便さを解消。
  • 渋谷、新宿、池袋などの主要都市や東京都北西部、埼玉県南西部から羽田空港へのアクセスが向上。
  • 蒲田・京急蒲田エリアの発展に貢献。

この計画により、羽田空港へのアクセスが大幅に向上し、沿線地域の利便性向上が期待されますが、蒲田~京急蒲田間の利用は思うほど見込める可能性は低い上、東急と京急の車両規格や軌間の違いで18m級のフリーゲージトレインの導入が不可欠

  • This plan aims to improve access to Haneda Airport by enabling direct operation of the Tokyu Tamagawa Line and the New Airport Line.

Plan details

  • Implementation area: From Yaguchiwatari Station and Kamata Station on the Tokyu Tamagawa Line to near Keikyu Kamata Station on the Keikyu Electric Railway Main Line and Airport Line
  • Description of Business
    • Underground on the Tokyu Tamagawa Line from the vicinity of Yaguchiwatari Station to Kamata Station
    • Established a new connecting line (New Airport Line) between Kamata Station and Keikyu Kamata Station (operating kilometer: about 0.8km)
    • Direct operation of the Tokyu Tamagawa Line and the New Airport Line
    • Some trains enter the Toyoko Line from Tamagawa Station.
  • Frequency of operation
    • Peak hours in the morning: about 20 trains per hour
    • Other hours: About 10 trains per hour
  • Stops: Tamagawa Station (TM01), Shimomaruko Station (TM04), and Kamata Station (TM07) only, and Numabe Station (TM02), Unoki Station (TM03), Musashi-Nitta Station (TM05), and Yaguchiwatari Station (TM06) are expected to pass through.
  • Maintenance effect
    • Nakameguro Station ~ Near Keikyu Kamata Station: Time required is reduced by about 13 minutes
    • Jiyugaoka Station ~ Keikyu Kamata Station: Time required is reduced by about 22 minutes
  • We plan to improve the platforms at Tamagawa Station and Shimomaruko Station on the Tokyu Tamagawa Line so that incoming trains from the Toyoko Line can stop.

Significance of the plan

  • Eliminates the inconvenience of transferring between Kamata Station and Keikyu Kamata Station on the JR Keihin Tohoku Line, Tokyu Tamagawa Line, and Ikegami Line.
  • Access to Haneda Airport from major cities such as Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro, as well as northwestern Tokyo and southwestern Saitama Prefecture, has been improved.
  • Contributed to the development of the Kamata and Keikyu Kamata areas.

This plan is expected to greatly improve access to Haneda Airport and improve convenience in the area along the line, but it is unlikely that the use of Kamata ~ Keikyu Kamata will be as expected as expected, and the introduction of an 18m-class free gauge train is essential due to the difference in vehicle standards and gauges between Tokyu and Keikyu
